We hope you all have a wonderful, safe, and happy 4th of July with your families and friends! 🇺🇸✨

As we head into July, it’s hard to believe we are already in the home stretch of the swim season. Champs is just around the corner, and we want to finish strong both in the pool and out! We have a fantastic lineup of team event and favorite traditions over the next few weeks to celebrate our swimmers and build up that Sharks team spirit. 📣 Upcoming Event Details

🎢 Tuesday, 6/30: Great America Day, 1:00-5:00

• What: A fun day on the rides or at the water park
• Where: Meet at the front entrance at 1:00 OR find each other using WhatsApp.
• What to wear: Your Oaktree gear!

🏖Tuesday, 7/7: Team Beach Day (Anytime after practice)

• Location: Twin Lakes Beach (2500 E. Cliff Drive, Santa Cruz)
• Details: Free parking and dogs are welcome! Pack up your car with snacks, beach gear, and your favorite Sharks friends. First ones there will grab a spot for the team, and we’ll casually meet up throughout the day.
• Sharks Style: Wear your Oaktree gear so we can spot each other, and use our WhatsApp group to coordinate and share your location when you arrive!

⛳ Thursday, 7/9: Golfland Fun (3:00 PM – 5:50 PM)

• Location: Golfland (976 Blossom Hill Road)
• Details: Join your fellow Sharks for a fun afternoon of mini-golf! No reservations needed—just show up with your best Oaktree pals ready to play.
• Sharks Style: Rock your Oaktree gear, snap a few photos, and share them on WhatsApp!

🍕 Wednesday, 7/15: Pizza & Free Swim (11:45 AM – 1:15 PM)

• Location: Oaktree Pool
• Details: All Oaktree swimmers are invited to the pool for pizza and a free swim on us!
• Note: Per HOA policy, all swimmers ages 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

🍝 Thursday, 7/16: Pasta Feed (5:30 PM – 8:30 PM)

• Location: Oaktree Pool
• Details: Mark your calendars for one of our absolute favorite traditions! We’re coming together as a team one last time before Champs.
• The Fun Stuff: Free swim will be open from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM. We'll also have buddy poster making, nail painting, and car decorating supplies (and more!) ready to go so we can get hyped for the big meet!
