Updates week of 6/7
Thank you all for a wonderful first dual meet. LPAC was very impressed with how smoothly our meet ran and that is thanks to all of our amazing volunteers!

Congratulations to Caroline Perkins who broke an Oaktree record with a 32.46 in the 15/18 Women’s 50 yard Breaststroke.
This week is PACKED with events! Please read carefully.
Tie Dye 6/8:
- See the event email for more details!
- Bring a 100% white cotton shirt to the pool BEFORE YOUR PRACTICE- parents will soak it while you swim!
- Make sure your name is in sharpie inside of the shirt
- After practice you go find your shirt, rubber band it, tie dye it, take it home in a ziplock bag with the cleaning solution.
- Washing Instructions- Wash after 1-2 days
- Once washed, please return the small container to the pool. We reuse them year after year.
- Monday, June 15th you will bring your tie dye shirt back to the pool and Fiona will press the logo to the back of your shirt. Please give the shirt to her BEFORE your practice so she has time to get it done.
- Thank you Fiona and Krystal and everyone who helped make this huge, fun project happen!
6/8 Swim meet ribbon pick up and improved times:
- After each swim meet on Mondays the swimmers can pick up their ribbons from their family file
- Swimmers get lollipops for each improved time!
- Monday after practice come get your ribbons and your improved time lollipops.
- Then head over to do your tie dye!
BBQ Pit Fundraising Day 6/9

Stroke and Turn 6/9 and 6/11:
- $25 a swimmer pay via Zelle or cash to coaches
- 12:00-1:00 at Oaktree
- Small group instruction
- RSVP on Swimtopia
- Coaches will group swimmers based on skill help needed
- Work on dives, turns, strokes etc.
- Every Tuesday and Thursday in June and July

Away Meet at Almaden Saturday 6/13:
Almaden Golf Country Club- 6663 Hampton Dr. San Jose
- Take Meridian south to Camden, turn left on Camden, right on Trinidad Dr. and then right on Crown Blvd or take Almaden Expressway south, past Camden, turn right onCrown Blvd. The pool is at the end of Crown Blvd at Hampton Dr. (Not Almaden Swim and Racquet).
- Do not park in Country Club parking lot. Park on the street. Walk up the large driveway to the entrance on your right.
- There is a deck area and a small grass area for seating. No shade and limited number of lounge chairs that are taken by swimmers. Parents need to bring their own chairs and shade.
- Limited snack bar run by county club (not team).
- Pool has 5 lanes. Team has 125-150 swimmers.
- 7:00-7:30 check in
- 7:15-7:45 Almaden warm up
- 7:45-8:15 Oaktree warm up
- 8:15 team cheer
- 8:15 volunteers first shift report to computer table
- 8:20 National Anthem
- 8:30 Start of Meet
- 1:00 Goal end time
- Bring extra towels, sunscreen
- Bring lots of healthy snacks
- You can bring a buddy gift for your buddy
- If you want to swim in the Parent Relay find Adam to let him know!
