- Tickets: Plenty of seats are available together in Sections E and F.

🥂 Saturday, 6/6: Mom’s Night Out (7:00 PM)
- Location: The Opp House – 5953 Crimson Drive, San Jose, CA 95120
- The Theme: "Bring a Board" Party! Get creative on Pinterest and bring your favorite charcuterie, dessert, or snack board to share.
- The Vibe: This is a casual evening to connect and laugh. The hot tub will be open, so feel free to bring a swimsuit!
- Action Item: RSVP on SwimTopia so we have an accurate headcount, and sign up via this link to bring a board or a drink.
🎨 Mon 6/8 & Mon 6/15: Tie-Dye Spirit Shirts
Materials and one printed logo are fully covered for all Oaktree swimmers! Parents can join the fun for $10 (covers dye and logo).
- Option A: Standard Clothing/Shirts (100% Cotton)
- Prep: Purchase a white, 100% cotton shirt, tank top, or clothing item (avoid synthetic/sports blends).
- June 8 (Drop off & Dye): Drop the item off IN A ZIPLOCK BAG before practice to soak. Visit the tie-dye station after practice to add Sharks colors. It goes home wet with soap and washing instructions.
- June 15 (Logo Printing): Bring the washed, dried tie-dye item back during practice to have the official Sharks logo printed on it!
- Option B: Towels (Alternative)
- Prep: Notify Fiona or Krystal before June 9th to get a soaking solution. Buy a white cotton towel, soak and dry it at home, and use duct tape to write your swimmer's name on it. (see article for ideas/instructions)
- June 8: Bring the prepped towel to the pool. Colors will be applied via spray bottles. (Note: Towels will not receive the printed logo due to size/texture).
🍗 Tuesday, 6/9: BBQ Pit Fundraiser & 13+ Teen Swim Party
- The Fundraiser: Take a night off from cooking! Dine in or get takeout at the BBQ Pit to support our local business sponsor and raise money for the Sharks. Show or bring the attached flyer when you order.
- The Teen Party (7:00–9:00 PM): All swimmers ages 13+ are invited to head over to the Toolson House (1305 Pernich Ct.) right after grabbing dinner at the BBQ Pit fundraiser! We'll have sweet treats, the pool open, and fun hangout activities. Contact Carrie with questions.
🛶 Thursday, 6/11: The Cardboard Regatta (5:30–7:30 PM)
This is hands-down the most anticipated, hilarious, and exciting event of the summer! Swimmers build boats to race across the pool. For more information check out this page on our Sharks Swimtopia site.
- The Rules: Boats may ONLY be made out of cardboard and duct tape. No glue, styrofoam, paint, or other tape allowed. No kickboard boats this year!
- Events: Swimmers can race solo, with a buddy, or in a group. (Please limit group sizes to 4 or less) Sign up for your event at the pool AND start planning and building your vessels now! Swimmers can sign up for as many events as they would like.
- Event Schedule:
- 5:30–6:30 PM: Arrive, bring your own family dinner/lawn chairs, and line up your boats on the pool deck.
- 6:30 PM: Boat races begin by heat/age group! (Plus tons of awards for fastest times, best design, and the "most dramatic sinking").
- Clean Up Note: Waterlogged cardboard leaves a mess. Every family is responsible for taking their entire boat home. Pro-Tip: Bring large heavy-duty trash bags to transport your wet cardboard afterward!
- Action Item: Start forming our teams, planning your boats, and sign up your boat/team on the pool bulletin board starting this week!
See you on the pool deck! Go Sharks! 🦈
