Welcome to the 2026 Oaktree Sharks Season! 

We are ready to start the new season with some new and exciting changes! We have purchased a new timing system. Time Drops is the timing system Belwood used last year with the small circular button timers only have to push to end the race. It all connects wirelessly to our new computer and tablet to help run meets smoothly and as efficiently as possible. We have also purchased a new starter! We have taken very good care of our old one, but it was several decades old and needed a lot of TLC. Our website has been updated and will continue to have updates as we plan all of the events. oaktreesharks.swimtopia.com

Please make note of the important upcoming dates. All dates are on Swimtopia and you can subscribe to the calendar for it to auto populate into your calendar. 

• Registration will open 2/12 and close 3/13. Please spread the word to anyone interested!

• Registration costs: $365 per swimmer, $185 per family that is non HOA. Our operating costs have increased by about 5% this year. Registration includes: team picture, trophy, 59 practices, 7 swim meets including champs and time trials, pancake breakfast, root beer floats at picture day, kick off party, pasta feed supplies, funny awards, and miscellaneous supplies. Optional purchases: $5 for tie dye supplies and iron on logo, taco party (price of the meal subsidized by the team), team suit, team caps, ad in the champs program, preordered lunch for champs, stroke and turn lessons, coaches gifts and possible other events.
• We are still using Zelle, cash, and checks as our form of payments.

  • 4/4 No swim meet
  • 7/11 Home meet vs Belwood
  • 7/18 Champs at Independence High School
  • 7/19 Awards Night

• We are looking for a family or 2 to take over snack shack. There are 2 home meets this year. Time trials only needs snacks, no BBQ. Please contact us if you are interested in helping our team with this important job.
