Congratulations to our 2 newest Golden Cap recipients- Kate Keller and Ivaan Varghese!

Kate has evolved over the course of the season into a force to be reckoned with. She constantly inspires and pushes her teammates to improve, and she also constantly pushes herself past her existing limits to expand her abilities as a swimmer. Because of her tenacity, she improved in all three of her events at the meet against Silver Creek. Kate’s dedication to the team and to herself over the bye-weekend caught the attention of the coaches, earning her the golden cap.

Ivaan has shown his dedication through every practice and meet he has taken part of. He always works as hard as he possibly can and pushes himself in every practice and is able to receive critique and criticism and apply it to the best of his ability. He perfected his dive in practice and it really showed at the Silver Creek meet! He took part in his first relay as well and showed no fear as he dominated the backstroke in his medley relay!
