Tomorrow is our last dual meat of the season and it is at home.

Here are some reminders about our Dual Meet tomorrow! This is an important meet, so we need everyone to get a lot of rest and show up ready to swim their best!

Meet Information:

• Saturday, 7/12 at Oaktree vs Silver Creek
• Arrive and Check-In: 6:45-7:30
• Check in CLOSES at 7:30am for volunteers and swimmers. EVERYONE must be checked in. Check in will be at the green picnic tables when you first walk in the pool.
• One table will be for swimmer check in- 1 line for boys, 1 line for girls.
• One table will be for volunteer check in!
• Sharks Warm-ups: 7:00-7:30 am THESE SWIMMERS MUST BE AT THE POOL AT 7:00 SO THEY CAN WARM UP: 9/10, 11/12, 13/14, and 15/18
• Team cheers and National Anthem 8:00
• Meet starts at 8:15am
• Our hope is to start on time and keep the meet moving as fast as possible to be done around 1:00. In order to keep the meet running we need everyone to help us stick to this timeline.

Parent Relay:

We will have a parent relay at the end of the meet while the scores are being tallied. Any parent who wants to participate is welcome! It is usually a free relay and parents can do a 25 or a 50. We figure all the logistics out once we know how many swimmers we have. So grab your suit and goggles and join in on the fun!

Event numbers:

Your child will get their race numbers written on their hand when they check in. They need to report to the clerk of the course (red tent) about 3-5 events prior to their number. EX: they swim event 35, they should report to the clerk of the course at event 30-32. The event board will be next to the computer table.

As the events are finished the swimmers times will be posted to the left of the boys bathroom. They typically stay up for a week and then come down and are replaced with the next meet's times. Adam Westgate, our computer lead, will also be posting the swim meet results on Swimtopia each week. You can also see your individual swimmers events and results in your Swimtopia app.

Buddies:

You are welcome to bring a small gift for your buddy ($5-$10 ). Buddy list is posted next to the girls bathroom on our event board. Please cheer on your big buddy and your little buddy.

Parents:

Parents you can drop your child off at the clerk of the course, but please do not walk with them to the blocks. There will be jr. coaches and big buddies there to help them. The area behind the blocks is closed off to traffic, it's just too crowded. Parents you can meet your swimmers at the end of the pool by the baby pool with their towel. Please make sure you stay out of the timer’s way so that they can accurately get your swimmer’s time. They will help your swimmer out of the water.

When your swimmer checks in you can grab your child’s event numbers that will be on a label. You can put this label on the back of your name tag to help you remember what their events are. Each meet we will have new event labels for you!

Parking:

Please be respectful of the neighborhood and do not block driveways or park in front of fire hydrants. The parking lot will be blocked off for coaches only.

Reminders:

We love team spirit, but need to make sure we are also being considerate of the pool deck and surrounding areas. Please make sure that tattoo papers are thrown away and not left all over the bathroom. Please make sure blue face paint is not on the pool deck or on the bathroom floors etc.

What to bring:

It is supposed to be warm tomorrow! It will be cool in the morning and then warm up in the afternoon and your child will be swimming 3-4 events. Bring lots of extra towels-they will most likely not dry out in between races. It's always good to bring extra goggles and a cap in case they get lost or break between events. Bring lots of healthy snacks for your swimmer- they get hungry! Our snack shack will be open and will be doing BBQ lunch. They will take cash (no bills over $20) or Zelle.

Easy Ups-

You may set up your easy up Saturday morning. We will be much more squished this meet. Please share your easy up space. This is a great way to meet families, or to share with your buddy's family! We will have the side to the left of the sidewalk that goes up the middle of the grass. The visiting team will have the side to the right of the path by the bocce ball court behind the clerk of the course.
