Congratulations to Izzy and Yutak on earning the golden cap from our last meet. Here is what our coaches said about them!

Izzy: Izzy has grown tremendously from the first day of 7/8 practice this 2025 season. She regularly attends practices, and gives the coaches her undivided attention during drill instruction. She works hard and never complains. Because of her commitment to perfecting her strokes, Izzy had some of the greatest backstroke the coaches have seen all year with a still head and her chin back, followed by perfect backstroke rotation. She swam in both relays and did a fabulous job at the meet.

Yutak: Yutak has spent hours in the pool perfecting his craft and heeding the advice of all his coaches. Before our swim meet against Belwood, we introduced a new standard for breathing during butterfly and freestyle which asks the swimmer to not breathe on their first stroke or in the flags. Yutak not only held his breath on his first strokes off the wall and in the flags, but he also improved all of his times earning him the golden cap.
