One of the most anticipated events of the entire season is almost here…

The Cardboard Regatta

Thursday, June 26 from 5:30–7:30 PM @ Oaktree

Get ready for an evening full of creativity, competition, music, and FUN! This is hands-down the most exciting night of the summer for our Sharks community, and we want every family to be part of it! Check out the pictures of last year's fun below.

Swimmers can enter any of these races:

🧍 Individual boat

👯 Buddy

🛶🛶 Or as part of a group (2+ swimmers)

Design and build your boat using only cardboard and duct tape—no other materials allowed. No kick board boats this year! Your vessel will be charged with attempting to carry a swimmer across the pool!

🏆 Let the Races Begin!

We'll have:

• Individual, Buddy, and Group Races
• Tons of prizes for race winners and some fun surprise categories too (most dramatic sinking, best design, etc.)
• Music, cheering, and community vibes

Adults—yes, you might even be invited to join the fun too! We saw you last year… so come ready to paddle, compete, and laugh.

✅ Sign-Ups

Sign up your boat/team on the Oaktree bulletin board starting the week before the event. Swimmers can participate in as many races as they want—so the more boats, the better!

🧺 Bring your own dinner, lawn chairs, and picnic blankets. It's going to be an unforgettable night at the pool!
