We had another great meet.  Even though we were missing 46 swimmers we still had many improved times and some great victories in our races.  The final score was Oaktree 96 Almaden 114.8  Several items were left behind at Almaden.  They will be in our lost and found at Oaktree.

We are still missing several families to sign up to help work at champs.  Please sign up for your champs volunteering shift by tomorrow.  Laura Jackson will be contacting you and assigning jobs if you haven't signed up. Champs is a swim meet with 900 swimmers and it takes MANY volunteers to run it!  Thank you for volunteering.

Coaches Gifts- Due June 30th TODAY!

We would love to have 100% participation from families, suggested amount is $40-$50 per swimmer or whatever you wish to donate. We will present these gifts to our coaches and jr. coaches at our Awards Night on July 14th.

Champs Ads - Due TOMORROW July 1st

We would really love to have more ads in the champs program. Don’t forget to submit yours asap!

All photos submitted must be in high resolution for best quality. While you may not choose to buy a program at Champs, I still strongly encourage you to make an ad. The kids will borrow their friend's program and they all gravitate to see what is written, so, let’s show our swimmers how proud we are of them. To participate, please send me an email ([email protected]) with a short message and/or a photo (jpeg format in high resolution). I will do the formatting of the pages.

• Oaktree Volunteer Check-in: 6:15-7:15 AM (no matter which shift you are working) ALL FAMILIES MUST CHECK IN AND PICK UP A VOLUNTEERING NAME TAG!

Warm ups:

ALL SWIMMERS MUST WARM UP. THE POOL LOOKS VERY DIFFERENT COMPARED TO CABANA POOLS! This is especially key to our 6u, 7/8 , and 9/10 swimmers. It is key that your swimmer is used to the pool and the diving blocks. They are different from any other pool we have swam in this year. I know it is early, but it will make a huge difference in their swimming and comfort level at champs. It also allows the coaches to help any swimmers prior to their race.

What to bring/not to bring to champs:

Chalk is not allowed at the facility. Please do not put it in buddy bags or bring any to the champs pool.

Program Sales: $20 for a program- CASH ONLY The league has We have ordered a minimum amount so once they are gone, they are gone!

Caps and swim suits- You may not wear a cap with any logo other than an Oaktree logo. You may wear another cap, but it needs to be plain.

Tech Suits- If you choose to wear a tech suit it needs to be an approved suit. It cannot be bonded, and has to have seams. 12 and unders cannot wear tech suits.

KT tape-No KT tape can be worn.

Plan on the meet ending around 5:00
