Hi,

Please read this email carefully as it has important information about our upcoming Friday event, as well as Saturday's swim meet info.

Thursday-races posted

The swim race events will be posted to the right of the boys bathroom today during practice. Please have your swimmer come find out what races they will be swimming at our Saturday meet. Remember, coaches create our races based off of many factors. Some being: your swimmer has a good chance to improve their time in that event, your swimmer has a good chance of being a top finisher in that event, this is good practice for your swimmer. Swimmers can swim up to 3 individual events and 1 relay event. Your swimmer is assigned a number for the relay, that is their order of swimming in the relay. The day of the meet there will be relay race cards that will be passed out to some parents to help gather those specific swimmers for those relays.

Friday- First Meet Rally

5:30-7:00 Come join us for a fun night of Kickball and get excited about our first meet! Bring your own dinner. Everyone is welcome to join in the kickball fun!

No 13-18 year old practice

Saturday -Swim meet away at the Silver Creek Country Club

5967 Country Club Pkwy, San Jose, CA 95138

BUT we will need to park at Silver Oak Elementary School, 5000 Farnsworth Dr, San Jose, CA 95138. The gates should open by 6:45am.

Please plan on it taking 20-30 minutes to get there.

7:00-7:30 Check in

7:30 Check in closes- please text Liz if needed for any reason 925-899-4025

Swimmers will be scratched if they are not checked in by 7:30

8:00 Oaktree Warm up

8:20 cheers

8:30 meet starts

• Pool access: Take the pathway from the front of the school toward the community gate and enter the pool via pool parking lot.
• Team Area: Oaktree’s team area is on the gazebo side of the pool. Please note that our pool deck is very small. Please plan to share space. Families are welcome to use the pool tables and chairs.
• Food: SCVCC will have a cash breakfast with burritos, donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate available for purchase. Lunch will be food trucks on site.
• Results: Results will be posted live on meet mobile.

We'll plan to have fun coach and parent relays at the end of the meet prior to hearing the results.
