Good Morning,

This morning we have NO practice. BUT we have funny awards for all ages at 10:00 at the pool.  You can also decorate your car windows!

Champs:

Tomorrow is our big Champs meet at the Morgan Hill Aquatic Center 16200 Condit Rd, Morgan Hill, CA 95037

Please review this information again so you are prepared: Champs Info 2023

Important: All swimmers must wear USA swimming approved gear.  Caps must be Oaktree, or completely plain in color.  No other logo or picture can be on the caps.  Swimsuits must be team suits or plain in color, no other logos or pictures.  You cannot wear gear from a different swim team like a year round team or a high school team.  If you have any questions please ask me or Eric Perkins- our head stroke and turn if your suit and cap are ok.  You will be DQ'd if you wear a cap or suit that is not approved.

Swimmers and spectators: Please wear your tie dye, or sharks gear to show team spirit!  Remember it will be very hot tomorrow and it is a long day!  Hydrate today, stay inside, and rest today.  

Lastly: Have FUN!  There have been hundreds of hours of work put into planning and organizing champs by all teams and the league board.  Please be respectful of other teams, swimmers and spectators.  This is a completely volunteer run program and we are all working hard for the benefit of our swimmers.  Tomorrow is a fun day, but it will be long and hot.  The kids have worked hard towards this meet and we want to make sure we cheer on everyone and congratulate all of their hard efforts.

I will see you all at check in between 6:45 and 7:15!  Please make sure your swimmer, no matter the age is in the water at 7:00 for warm ups.  The pool is much larger, deeper and can be intimidating so we want all swimmers to practice swimming in the pool and diving off the side or the blocks so that they are comfortable come race time.
