LOTS of IMPORTANT INFORMATION- READ CAREFULLY

Yesterday our first dual meet against Montevideo went great! Thank you to everyone for all of your help! Swimmer times from the meet are in Swimtopia, as well as posted outside the boys bathroom at the pool.

Practice this week Monday-Thursday

4:00-4:45-6u and 7/8

4:45-5:30 9/10 and 11/12 5:30-6:30 13/14 and 15/18 Friday there is modified practice times: 4:00-4:30 6u and 7/8 4:30-5:00 9/10 and 11/12 No practice for 13-18
Upcoming Meet: June 10th meet is Away at Belwood

Volunteer sign ups and Meet RSVP- 

Volunteer spots are open for the 6/10 meet. Everyone needs to sign up and RSVP! Sign ups and volunteer spots close Tuesday! If you do not RSVP and sign up to volunteer by Tuesday night you will not be entered in the meet and will not be able to swim. Thank you! I won't be sending out reminders going forward.

Belwood (BEL)

Belwood Pool and Cabana Club– 100 Belwood Gateway Los Gatos “DOLPHINS”

• Take Blossom Hill Rd. going towards Los Gatos. Go Past Camden Ave., past Harwood, turn left on Belwood Gateway. Pool on left.
• Park in small parking lot or on street. Large grass area with trees and cement areas. Plenty of room for canopies. There are some chairs for spectators along side of pool and picnic tables under trees for lunch.
• Snack bar has wide assortment of breakfast and lunch items.
• Pool has 6 lanes. Team has 130-150 swimmers.

Schedule- PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AS THE TIMES ARE EARLIER THAN OUR PAST MEETS!

• Arrive no earlier than 6:30am - Pool opens at 6:30
• Check in at 6:45-7:15- If you are not checked in your swimmer will not be swimming.
• Belwood warm-up: 7:15 to 7:40am
• Visiting team warm-up: 7:40 to 8:05am
• First shift volunteers and stroke and turn report to stations: 8:00am
• Meet Start: 8:15am
• Should be done by 1:00
• If you want to swim in the parent relay come find Adam!

General Information

• EZ-Ups ok but no tarps or tents with floors allowed
• No use of the kiddie pool
• Bocce ball area is closed and off limits
• No playing / loitering in the restrooms
• Please pick-up your trash after the meet
• No pets allowed anywhere at Belwood (including pool deck and grassy areas)
• Belwood Bait Shop will be open with breakfast, lunch and snack items

Thursday, June 8th- Bingo Night

We are excited to announce that we will be adding "Bingo Night" at the pool as one of our new events this season. We are looking for a volunteer to lead this fun-filled event on June 8th from 7-8:30 pm) We can't wait to see everyone come together for a night of laughter, friendly competition, and of course, some great prizes & treats. If you are interested and want to know what the volunteer duty entails, please reach out to Sogol ([email protected] and Carrie [email protected]) Promise it won't be a heavy lift and it will be a simple event. 

Picture Day -Sunday June 11th-Flyer is attached. All swimmers will get a memory mate that has the team picture and individual picture along with 1 button. If you want other pictures you can use the flyer to purchase more.

June 20th Elemental movie tickets are on sale for 6/20 for the 3:30 movie. Go ahead and buy your tickets!

June 27th Santa Cruz Boardwalk night. Tuesdays are bring a friend for free with a pass. 5-8:00
