Happy Spring! We are excited for the upcoming Oaktree Sharks 2023 swim season! We have some new changes this year that will hopefully help things continue to run smoothly. Oaktree will be using Swimtopia as our team management site. This site will have our registration, calendars, volunteer sign ups, team store for suits and clothing, meet RSVPs, entries and results. We will be able to communicate as a team and keep everything housed in one site. This will be the LAST email from me. All future communication will be in Swimtopia, so MAKE SURE YOU REGISTER! We need you to get an account! 1. Go to https://oaktreesharks.swimtopia.com/. Works best on a computer- not your phone- in Chrome 2. Click on Registration- create an account 3. Register your swimmers- found on the home page 4. Browse the site and become familiar with it. 5. Subscribe to the Calendar, go to Meets and Events-RSVP and Volunteer Calendar- click subscribe. If you click subscribe on your phone, it will add the events to the calendar on your phone easily. 6. Download the Swimtopia app on your phone! (In the app you can click on Visit Website Link at the top of the app gets you to all of our Swimtopia site, best to use Chrome) Due to all costs rising, our swimmer fees as well as non HOA family fees have increased. The increase covers all expenses to run the team, and our costs to run the league champs. New Swimmers: If you have a new swimmer to our team, even a younger sibling, we are holding tryouts on Saturday, April 29th from 9:00-12:00. Please sign up for a time to join us at the pool for your swimmer's tryout. They should be ready to get in and swim 1-2 laps. New Swimmer Tryout Sign Up Mandatory Whole Team Meeting: We will have a mandatory Dive Off meeting on May 1st from 7:00-8:00 PM on Google Meet at https://meet.google.com/sfk-fttk-qitLink is also on Swimtopia We have firm deadline dates this year

We need 4 more Stroke and Turn Judges! This would be your key role during a meet and would not need to do an additional volunteering spot during a meet. There will be training to be a stroke and turn judge. You rotate throughout the meet with the other judges from our team and the visiting team. You'll get to work with our already great group of Stroke and Turn Judges!
